1000 Cranes

Our dear friend, Mari, who is close to trusting Christ, if she hasn't already, did a very touching thing for Suzanne and her dad when she learned that he was sick.

She did the only thing she knew to do to encourage him--she made him 1000 colorful paper cranes, and she did it in only two days so Suzanne could take them with her to give to her dad. This is a traditional Japanese way of encouraging sick people and letting them know that others are "pulling" for them to get well. I cried when I saw the love she has for me and my family, to work day and night for two days to make this token of love and support.

Mari also wrote a very touching letter to Suzanne's father, thanking him for having her. She also wrote, "thank you for giving her to me, so that I was able to meet her in Japan. I appreciate God! And I appreciate you...."

Please pray for God to bless Mari with abundant life in Christ!
