29 GLOBAL Let it Snow! by Linda Guest
I get absolutely giddy when it snows. I love it.
In fact, right now it is snowing for the 3rd day. I find myself anxious about it quitting - I don't want it to stop. I want to treasure every second of this rare commodity but obviously I can't sit at my window all day. So I go about my work glancing as I can with anticipation that it is still snowing and with a fear that it might have stopped. When I see that it is still snowing, my heart is reassured and I get giddy all over again.
For me, my relationship with God is somewhat similar. When I reflect on who He is and how he has impacted my life, how He has filled what was once void with such complete contentment, I get giddy. But unlike the beautiful snow falling outside my window, I know that His presence in my life will never stop. I don't have to fear His absence. I can pause and enjoy the beauty of my relationship with Him and then go about my busyness knowing that the next time I glance about for Him that He is still there, consistently so, never ceasing.
I wish you a mind-blowing, giddy, excited, joyful relationship with our Savior Jesus for whom's birth we celebrate all over this globe.
Pray for all those serving with TEAM and all those they serve to know or renew this joy and relationship with Christ. |
