  • Children’s Day Camp Worker* – Build relationships and share the love of Jesus with children by helping at a day camp for children ages 6 to 14.  Teach English, arts and crafts, or coordinate sports and games.
  • Soccer Camp Worker – Make contacts with Italian young people by conducting soccer camps in Northeast Italy.  Some experience playing or coaching soccer is required.

Spain
Dates: 3 months – 1 year

  • Youth Worker – Contact and connect with youth in the community through sports and other activities in order to relate biblical principles to their lives.  Intermediate Spanish language skills preferred.
  • Media Specialist – Assist in preparing weekly TV program and developing a website.  Intermediate Spanish language skills required.

Sweden

  • Summer Outreach Worker – Assist with summer outreach to various groups in Stockholm.  Do youth ministry through New Life Church’s weekly programs, camps, and conference events. Interact with and encourage people from many different language groups.  Do urban outreach through day camps, creative worship, and renovation work.  In August, participate in a four-day summer outreach to children in the ethnically diverse suburb of Tensta, including many Muslims.  Help with a church plant in Gothenburg.

  • Children and Youth Worker – Assist the ongoing outreach to children and youth in Stockholm along various possible tracks.  Minister through home groups in the suburb of Tensta among an extremely varied immigrant population including a large Muslim community.  Do outreach through sports, music, arts, mentoring and counseling, as well as various other outreach events.  Help with the youth ministry and Sunday school programs at local churches.

  • Children/Youth Leader/Worker – Help at-risk kids in outdoor/sports programs and afterschool care.
  • Tutors, Counselors, Social Workers – Work with at-risk kids taken from crisis homes in a children’s/youth program.

  • Medical Workers – Help at a hospital in Zimbabwe and determine if God is calling you serve for a longer term.
  • Orphanage Workers – Work with children through an orphan care ministry by helping them with homework, playing with them, and building relationships.

  • Church Multiplication Practicum* – Work in a cross-cultural holistic church multiplication effort situated in rural Southern Thailand.  The intern would participate alongside experienced national and expatriate missionaries starting churches in different neighborhoods. Thai study is required to help connect and function with Thai people in the ministry area.  (3 months – 1 year)
  • High School ESL Teacher – Teach English in high school or junior college setting. ESL training helpful, but not required. (3 months – 1 year)
  • Music Teacher – Teach general instrumental music (esp. guitar and piano) at a ministry center and/or local high school.  Use music to build a bridge with unbelievers, and develop relationships with Thai students and teachers.  Also assist with music ministry.  (1 month – 1 year)

  • ESL Teacher for College Students* - Intern as an ESL teacher in a minority area of East Asia.  Program includes 72 hours
    teaching English to college-level students.

  • Continuing Medical Education Instructors Provide Continuing Medical Education to on-site medical personnel.
  • Anesthesiologist/Nurse Anesthetist – Using anesthesia to meet practical needs and build bridges in the local community. (3 – 6 months)
  • Ultrasonographer – Use ultrasound technology to minister to practical needs and build bridges in the local community.
  • Dentist – Use dentistry to minister to practical needs of medical staff and patients, to build bridges in the local community. Or hold dental camps in rural locations and assist in the hospital dental unit.  (1 – 4 weeks)
  • Physical Therapist – Use physical therapy to minister to practical needs and build bridges in the local community. Evaluate, treat, educate, and/or follow-up with care for things like spinal cord injuries, burns, wounds, orthopedic problems (trauma and reconstruction), neurological lesions, congenital deformities, children with developmental delays, neuromuscular weakness, wasting, contractures, thoracic and pulmonary deficiencies, general weakness, and post-operative or post-delivery PT care. Provide supervision and in-service training of the PT Department staff if appropriate. Coordinate the ongoing treatment of patients. (3 – 12 months)
  • Female Midwife – Serve in daily OB rounds for mothers and babies, antenatal clinics, provide information for physicians, nursing and midwifery staff training, and in evangelism. (3 – 12 months)
  • 4th year Medical Students* – Participate in daily ward rounds, outpatient clinics, surgery, and emergency call under staff physician supervision. Develop skills in history-taking, physical examination, lab and x-ray evaluation and diagnosis in a rural hospital setting. Study diseases and conditions encountered. Develop skills in procedures (e.g. lumbar puncture, suturing, incision and drainage). Be a model of Christian compassion in attitudes and actions with patients and staff. (1 – 3 months)
  • Veterinarian – Use your veterinary skills to conduct clinics in rural areas.

  • ESL Teacher to Muslim Refugees – Teach English to Muslim Refugees from a neighboring country in a well-established English program.

Dates: 9 months – 1 year, Aug – June (school year)

  • Elementary and High School Teachers – Teach elementary grades (4 – 6) or high school individuals subjects in a small school for the children of missionaries ministering among an unreached Muslim people group.
  • Boarding Personnel – Serve as residence staff in a small school for the children of missionaries.

South Asia B
Dates: 2 weeks – 1 year
Cost: $4000 – $10,000

  • Surgeon – Serve the underserved of rural South Asia.  Use your expertise in a mission hospital in the foothills of the Himalayas.
  • Theology and Bible School Teacher – Teach Bible and Theology to students.  Degree in Bible or Missiology, and prior teaching experience are required.
  • Specialized Professional Skills Tutors – Teach others about your area of expertise, including computers, administration, organizational development, Biblical-based counseling, TESL, etc.
  • Missions Training Curriculum Development Consultant – Invest your curriculum development expertise in helping develop a missions training curriculum.
  • Missionary Kid Teacher in Hindu Nation – Teach missionary kids in higher elementary and junior high school, in the context of this predominantly Hindu nation.  Teaching certificate required.  School term runs from early August to end of June.
