TEAMServe Introduction
Who qualifies for TEAMServe?
Evangelical Christians with:
  • A vital, growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • At least one year of post-high school education or work experience
  • A servant’s heart and a willing spirit to contribute wherever needed
(For some assignments, specialized ministry experience or a professional skill, i.e., medical training, is required.)

What does the TEAMServe assignment involve?
  • Pre-field orientation. Four to five days at TEAM’s headquarters in Wheaton, IL, crammed with spiritual preparation, practical training, and team-building experiences.
  • Field ministry can include direct involvement with nationals or support work with Missionaries.
  • Debriefing. Two days of evaluating and processing your ministry and sharing your experiences.
  • All three of these elements are required for all TEAMServe participants.

Summer Team/Individual Trips

South America

Brazil
Dates: 2 – 4 weeks
Cost: $2200 – $2500

  • Photographer / Videographer* – Put together multi-media productions to help promote the ministry of sending Brazilian missionaries around the world.

Dates: 1 – 3 months
Cost: $2500 – $3900

  • ESL Teacher* – Teach English to mission candidates for a Brazilian mission agency.

Dates: 1 – 3 months
Cost: $2500 – $3900

  • English Teachers – Teach English to the staff of a counseling center.  Teach 2 – 4 hours each day, and live in community with the 4 – 8 students at the center. (Up to 2 people.)
  • Construction Workers – Help build a house for a counseling center ministry.

Europe

Germany
Dates: 2 weeks – 1 year 
Cost: $1810 - $15,600

  • English Teacher* – Start and teach English classes for European nationals, start and run an after-school English homework helping session for kids in German schools.  Could involve helping with other subjects as able and providing a hot meal in conjunction with others in the church for school kids.  Could run 1-2 week English camps during the summer.  For more information, see http://ramstein.feg.de.

Dates: 4 months – 1 year 
Cost: $6050 - $15,600

  • Worship Leader / Worship Team Member* – Lead or help lead worship during worship services.  Help develop the worship team, improve the quality of worship, and start new worship initiatives as appropriate. For more information, see http://ramstein.feg.de.

Italy
Dates: June – July for Day Camp/July for Soccer Camp
Cost: $4000
Openings: 5 – 6 (apply as a group or individual)

  • Children’s Day Camp Worker* – Build relationships and share the love of Jesus with children by helping at a day camp for children ages 6 to 14.  Teach English, arts and crafts, or coordinate sports and games.
  • Soccer Camp Worker – Make contacts with Italian young people by conducting soccer camps in Northeast Italy.  Some experience playing or coaching soccer is required.
