Helping You Discover Yourself in Cross-Cultural Ministry...

EXPLORE Workshop is an intensive two-and-one-half-day guided exploration that provides the time, tools and professional expertise to examine your personal gifts, interests, talents and achievements in light of the demands of cross-cultural ministry.  The purpose of the workshop is to help you and your church to identify your fit as a worker in God’s global harvest.  EXPLORE Workshop does this by:

GinaRGina Rollins

EXPLORE - A customized career-assessment and personal development workshop

What is an EXPLORE Workshop?

EXPLORE Workshop is an intensive two-and-one-half-day experience providing time to examine personal gifts, interests, and achievements in light of the opportunities and demands of overseas ministry.  The purpose of the workshop is to glorify God by helping the church identify potential cross-cultural workers for God’s global harvest.  It does this by:

  • Helping workshop participants assess their call, character, fit, and readiness for missionary service and identify practical next steps
  • Providing feedback to the local church as it encourages and follows-up with participants.

Up to twenty-two participants, senior year in high school or older, are selected by the church to attend.

Steps to hosting a workshop at your church

I.    Contact Gina Rollins to confirm dates for the workshop.  We generally work six months to a year ahead on scheduling.

II.    Identify and contact potential registrants.  These would be people who have either already expressed an interest in missions as a career, or who have shown by life, ministry, and commitment that they have a global vision for reaching people with the good news of Christ.  Think not only of people who have done missions trips, but those who are reaching out in the local community, who may have leadership skills, evangelistic gifts, or other gifts that have been evident to the church community.  The earlier you contact people, the more likely they will be able to attend.  Think months ahead, not weeks.

III.    Decide the venue and schedule—either at the church or in another location (camp, conference center, public facility like a hospital or library meeting room).  Sample schedules are available and we can make alterations to the start time to suit your needs.  The length and composition of the workshop is not negotiable.
