HIV/AIDS INITIATIVE

Because the church, the Body of Christ, IS the answer, TEAM workers serve within the church of Zimbabwe -- encouraging, enabling, equipping, responding with skill and compassion to the HIV/AIDS pandemic. An alliance of individuals, churches, and small non-governmental organizations is currently forming to help those surviving in the wake of this deadly storm called HIV/AIDS.

Piura, a city of 400,000 in the northern region of Peru, was the first Spanish city in Latin America. Generations of families have lived and died in this city, but very few have known that Eternal Life is a gift freely available to them.

Working hand-in-hand with InterAct, a Swedish church and mission movement, TEAM missionaries are seeing churches grow that bring the whole Gospel to the whole person in Sweden.

The southwest corner of North Asia is densely populated by the “Musical” people.  With a population of seventeen million, they represent the largest minority in the region and the church among them is weak and poor.

The Dong people are a group of musical people hidden away from much of the modern march of technology. They live a traditional, agrarian life-style in Northern Asia. The Body of Christ is not yet present among them.

The Beheimgasse Church – and ministry center

In the heart of Vienna, the one-time center of the Holy Roman Empire, lives a local Body of Christ serving at the center of a movement for the Kingdom of God in Austria.  This Body of Christ is the Beheimgasse Church.
