Why does TEAM exist?

TEAM’s purpose is to help churches send missionaries to establish reproducing churches among the nations to the glory of God. We seek to establish reproducing churches wherever the most people have the greatest need in collaboration with churches anywhere.

What makes TEAM different from other mission agencies?

While TEAM is involved in many different types of ministry, the ultimate focus of all that we do is church planting. We work together with numerous international and national partner organizations around the world, resulting in multi-agency, multiethnic and multinational teams. 

How can I prepare to be a missionary?

Becoming a missionary isn’t an overnight process, but here are some basic steps to take.

If it seems that TEAM and you are a good fit for each other, we’ll get you started in the formal application process. 

Will I serve on a team?

As our name indicates, we are committed to serving in teams. Teams may include other TEAM missionaries, missionaries from partner agencies, or members of the local community. 

How are TEAM missionaries paid?

TEAM missionaries are supported by faithful churches and individuals worldwide that give generously to TEAM to help further the cause of global mission. Check out how to become a financial partner. 

Does TEAM have financial accountability?

TEAM is a member of the ECFA (Evangelical Council for Financial Accountability), a financial accreditation agency. As such, we are required to maintain the ECFA’s rigorous Standards for Responsible Stewardship in the areas of board governance, financial transparency, integrity in fund-raising, and proper use of charity resources.
