CrossGlobalLink logoTEAM has been a member of CrossGlobal Link (formerly IFMA) since 1945

In 1917, seven faith mission agencies came together to form the Interdenominational Foreign Mission Association (IFMA), now known as CrossGlobal Link. This charter meeting took place in Princeton, NJ.

From that small cluster of East coast mission leaders, CrossGlobal Link has grown into a vast North American-wide association of mission agencies and churches that together field over 15,500 missionaries around the globe.

Starting in a non-descript room at AIM headquarters in Brooklyn, to its own rental office in Brooklyn, and then on to another in Ridgefield Park, NJ and finally to the present office building in Wheaton, IL, CrossGlobal Link has flexed with growth and change through the years. And time brought a change of executive directors as well. The first full-time director was John O. Percy (1956-62). Then, the longest serving director, Jack Frizen served from 1963-90. After him came John Orme (1991-2006), and now it's Marv Newell.

The purpose of this association is to establish standards of accountability and integrity; to foster networking and strategic alliances for world mission; to stimulate fellowship, mutuality, and prayer among members; to provide specialized mission training and leadership development; to maintain a unified testimony and establish a united voice in our mutual commitment to the Word of God and the overarching responsibility for global evangelization.

For more than 90 years, CrossGlobal Link has brought together like-minded mission agencies serving evangelical Christians who believe Jesus Christ is Savior and Lord, and who are committed to obeying His command to take the gospel to all the world. These Christians and the churches they represent trust CrossGlobal Link member missions for their integrity - integrity not only in finances, but also in message, in relationships, and in moral standards. These standards are critical for the over 15,500 missionaries from 90 agencies who serve Christ in a world convulsed by war, ethnic division, poverty, urban decay, AIDS, and the resurgence of opposing militant religions. In this reality, servants and supporters must be assured that resources are deployed under the strictest standards of integrity. CrossGlobal Link partners its member missions by providing:

• Mission personnel staffs with the know-how for missionary recruitment, selection, and professional development,
• Mission business and financial people with refresher seminars in management, taxes, and accounting,
• Mission executives and management staff with conferences and small group seminars which enhance leadership and management skills,
• A forum by which mission leadership can stay abreast of world issues and current theological and missiological trends.

CrossGlobal Link has never deviated from stringent membership standards. That's why CrossGlobal Link member missions can be trusted to be true to the Bible, to the gospel, and to the high moral and ethical demands of Scripture. The CrossGlobal Link symbol truly is the symbol of integrity.
